About
Get to Know Me
Hi, I’m Madison "Maddie" Williams, a licensed Occupational Therapist, with over ten years of experience serving exceptional kids and their families.
Since I was a child myself, babysitting younger little ones, I have lived to help kids! Before occupation therapy, I was a preschool teacher for five years. I have three children myself, including one who has required speech and language services. As a professional and a mom, I have the dual perspective needed to give your child and family the most compassionate and effective care.
The past few years with the COVID pandemic and lockdowns have been especially difficult for families, including my own! During that time, with everything shut down, I parented, performed therapy for my own child and others online. Those challenges solidified by passion for helping the whole family unit transcend traumatic experiences. Also, making therapy more accessible is important to me, as I have personally received the same types of bills in the mail that stress parents out.
Outside of my work, I love doing arts and crafts.I sew, paint, throw pottery and pretty much try and redecorate every room in my home constantly. Lastly, I am conversational in Spanish and I can talk with Spanish speakers about therapy needs. I look forward to getting to know you and your family!
